Cupping Therapy for Shoulder Pain Relief

The video shows cupping therapy for shoulder pain relief. So what is cupping therapy?
Cupping is a traditional Chinese medicine practice. It is a technique used to stimulate
blood flow in the body. This makes cupping therapy an effective treatment in relieving
muscle tightness, soreness, and tension.

To illustrate this ancient therapeutic treatment works by placing special cups onto
the skin. These cups then create a vacuum on the applied areas. As a result, the muscles
and tissues is sucked or drawn upwards. Now, this causes an increase in blood flow and
loosens the muscles and tissues. Thus, stimulating the natural healing process of the
body.

Moreover, cupping is considered a deep tissue massage. This is due to its functions and
numerous benefits. Some of these include breaking up scar tissues and reducing pain in
the shoulders, back, and neck areas.

Furthermore, cupping may cause temporary soreness and bruises. However, these are not
harmful. TCM practitioners actually view them as favourable outcomes. In fact, soreness
and bruises are indications that blockages and toxins in the body are removed successfully.

there are other factors that play a major role in a patient’s recovery. For instance, the
degree or extent of the injury suffered by the patient. Furthermore, the healing ability
of the patient should also be considered.

Nevertheless, even if the injury is healed sometimes the symptoms won’t just go away.

Partner Massage: Tight Traps (Tensed Trap Muscles)

This video shares tips on tight traps relief you can do for your partner. Sitting for a long
period of time can cause tight muscles in between the shoulder blades. That is because
unconsciously, when we are focused on our work or in front of a computer, your shoulders
protract forward. Your body arches and it sits like that for a time. As a result, muscles in
the neck, shoulders and lower back become tensed, sore and tight. Now some of these
muscles can be loosen by just stretching. However, there are muscle fibers that need a
trigger point release to relax again. This include tensed and tight trap muscles. Now, this
is where a massage can become handy and effective.
