Frozen Shoulder Treatment
F, Frozen shoudler 9 months. After two lots of steroid injections and intensive physio, nothing was working. Limited ROM adduction and abduction and internal rotation. Sharp dull achy pain througout the day and severe pain at night. We were able to get some good ROM back afer the first session, Sept 9, 2017, and we worked more on pain relief this follow up session.
Generally, a course of 8 treatment sessions is recommended. Once the pain is stabilised and range of motion has restored, Patients are given exercises to rebuild the weakened muscles. Without treatment and proper care, frozen shoulder can last anywhere from 8-19 months.
