🌙 Simple Snow Fungus Soup for Postpartum Night Sweats (Just 3 Ingredients!)
After giving birth, it’s common to experience night sweats, especially in the first few weeks. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, this is usually a sign of Yin deficiency — your body’s cooling and moistening system is running low after the hard work of pregnancy and labour.
One easy, gentle remedy you can make at home is this 3-ingredient Snow Fungus Soup. It’s simple, nourishing, and perfect for postpartum recovery.
🌿 Why These 3 Ingredients?
- Snow Fungus (银耳): Known as a “Yin tonic” in TCM. It helps the body replenish fluids, cool internal heat, and improve skin and tissue repair.
- Red Dates (红枣): Tonify Qi and Blood, calm the mind, and gently warm the digestion without adding heat.
- Goji Berries (枸杞子): Nourish the Liver and Kidney Yin, support the eyes, and improve energy gently.
Together, this trio helps:
- Reduce postpartum night sweats
- Rebuild fluids and energy
- Support gentle healing and nourishment
